We love the Subaru commercials because they appeal to the sentimental driver in us. You know the ones I’m talking about – the one in which the man always drives his old Subaru and parks them on top of a hill. Or the commercials with the motif of the really dirty Subaru after a big road trip. The message of all these commercials is that Subaru drivers love their cars more than other drivers.
In our experience, this is true! Subaru drivers love their cars, whether they purchased them new or used. This love is justified. Subarus are safe and reliable cars with powerful engines. And thanks to the boxster design used in Subarus, the engines are light but powerful.
When a Subaru engine fails, it is almost always due to overheating. Boxster engines have a wide bore and a very short stroke. In layman’s terms, what this means is that while they are very powerful there just isn’t a lot of metal in the engine for that much power. The cooling system on your Subaru has to be working flawlessly, or your engine will overheat. This can happen very quickly – you must always keep an eye on your dash to make sure your check engine light isn’t on, and that your thermostat shows to be in its normal, middle spot.
If you’re reading this, chances are that your Subaru engine has already failed. We’re sorry that happened, but we’re glad that we can be of help. Every day, we sell used Subaru engines to customers all over the United States. In fact, we are one of the largest volume sellers of Subaru engines in the country. We have a unique ability to locate and deliver low mileage Subaru engines. We’ve sold to private individuals, auto tech schools, dealerships, and private mechanic shops all over the country. And at the end of the transaction, our customers are happy.
Why? Because they’ve found an engine supplier that cares about getting them back on the road quickly. They’ve found an engine supplier that ships good, tested engines. They’ve found an engine supplier that cares.
So if you find yourself in the spot where you need an engine transplant for your Subaru, give us a call – we’d love to help. Call us at 800-709-2333.
